Terms & Conditions
By accepting delivery of any product delivered from I.A. Computers ("iacomputers.com"), you ("Customer") agree to be bound by the terms and conditions listed below. You and I.A. Computers agree that the following terms and conditions are the exclusive terms governing the sales transaction between Customer and I.A. Computers. Any attempt to alter, supplement, modify or amend these terms and conditions by the Customer will be considered a material alteration of this agreement and, therefore, are null and void. In addition, these terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check these terms and conditions carefully each time you place an order with or accept delivery of any goods from I.A. Computers.

Return Policy

Products, unless otherwise indicated, can be returned within 30 days from the shipment date for a refund or replacement.

Refund Policy

I.A. Computers offers a 30 day return policy on selected items.

A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all refunds. You must return the product to us in original factory carton with all original packing materials, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk if the product is lost or damaged in shipment. Additional fees will be applied to ANY product not returned in "like new condition" including missing the original box, packaging material, contents, accessories or manuals. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

To obtain a refund, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number online and no later than 30 days from the date the product was shipped to you. RMA numbers are valid for 10 days from the date of issuance.

We will not fulfill refunds for products that have been physically damaged or misused. I.A. Computers will return any physically damaged product back to the customer at the customer's expense.

Exceptions

To obtain a refund for a product in any of the following categories, you must submit a request for a RMA within 15 days from the date the item is shipped to you.

  • Hard Drive
  • Memory
  • Monitor

NO REFUNDS are accepted for any products in the following categories.

  • CPU (Retail and OEM)
  • Digital Camera
  • Opened Blank Media (CD/DVD R/RW Media, Floppy Disks, ZIP Cartridges)
  • Opened Software
  • Refurbished Product
  • Printer
  • Printer Consumable (Ink, Toner, Paper)
  • Projector / Lamp
  • Special Order Product

Replacement/Warranty Service (for defective products)

If you received a DOA/defective product, you can request a replacement from I.A. Computers by obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number online no later than 30 days from the date the product was shipped to you. RMA numbers are valid for 10 days from the date of issuance.

After 30 days of the shipment date, you must contact the manufacturer directly for repair/replacement of DOA/defective products.

DOA/defective products can be returned for REPLACEMENT ONLY with the same product/model.

You must return the product to us in the original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and insure the shipment or accept the risk if the product is lost or damaged in shipment. We will pay to ship the repaired or replaced products to you.

We will not repair/replace products that have been physically damaged or misused. Overclocking or improper installation of CPU fans will cause CPUs to chip or burn and are not eligible for replacement or refund. I.A. Computers will return any physically damaged product back to the customer at the customer's expense.

Exceptions

Retail CPUs carry a 3 year manufacturer warranty and you must contact the original manufacturer for any warranty service.


Shipment Policy

Most products ordered before 3 p.m. CST are shipped within 1-2 business days pending credit approval and availability of the products. If there is a delay in shipping your merchandise, we will contact you.

Orders placed on weekends, holidays and after 3 p.m. CST on Monday through Friday will be processed the following business day. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Currently, I.A. Computers only ships to the 50 U.S. states. We do not ship to a P.O. Box, APO, FPO, PR, VI, GU address.

Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will take longer to deliver due to distance and shipping priority.


Discrepancies

Customer shall promptly notify iacomputers.com, no later than five (5) business days after delivery, of any discrepancies or shortages. Such notice shall be in writing and must be reasonably detailed.

Failure to give any such notice within such time shall be deemed an acceptance in full of any such delivery.


Delivery Policy

Customer shall notify iacomputers.com no later than (2) business days after delivery, of any product that has beem damaged. Such notice shall be in writing and must be reasonably detailed. Failure to give any such notice within such time shall be deemed an acceptance in full of any such delivery.


Refused Shipment

If a shipment is refused, you will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.


Rebates

We do our best to advertise any current rebates and provide forms on our website. We do NOT ship or mail rebate forms. You must print the rebate forms.

The manufacturer sets the terms or conditions on the rebates, so please read the forms carefully and provide all required documentation. Also keep copies of all documentation for your records.

Rebate requirements vary, but there are generally 3 common components:

  • The UPC (Universal Product Code), which is usually located on the product’s box
  • A completed rebate form
  • A copy of your receipt (You can print the receipt from our website.)

Change Orders

Once an order has been submitted, you will not be permitted to modify the order. If you would like to add or remove products, you will need to cancel the order, providing you still can, and place a new order.


Cancel Orders

You may request a cancellation of your order online, provided your order has not been sent to our warehouse or shipped. You may cancel an order by clicking the "Cancel" link on your "Order Status" page.

If your credit card has already been charged, you will receive a credit back to your account within 1-2 business days.

We do not honor cancellation requests via Email.


Volume Discounts

We currently do not offer volume or wholesale discounts. iacomputers.com is intended for end-users and not resellers. If you are a reseller, contact a distributor for pricing.


Price Matching

We do not offer price matching. Prices are not negotiable.


Payments Policy

I.A. Computers accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover

We do not accept international credit cards, Pre-paid Company Checks, Personal Checks, Cashier's Checks or Money Orders.

We also do not accept Purchase Orders, Fax or C.O.D. orders.


Sales Tax

We are required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to Texas. The sales tax percentage charged depends on which county the order is shipped to.

Back Orders

I.A. Computers does not sell backordered merchandise. We do not purposely permit customers to purchase products that we or our distributors do not physically have in stock at the time of purchase.

Occasional inventory discrepancies may occur due to inaccurate inventory counts. In that instance we will refund your credit card for the product, along with any applicable sales tax and shipping charges. I.A. Computers will send an automated email to alert you of the situation.

If a product is backordered, you may elect to receive a notification from us when the item becomes available.


Limit Per Customer

  • Certain products may contain quantity limitations and these specifications will be enforced Products with quantity limitations are intended for end users and not resellers.
  • Placing multiple orders in order to obtain your desired quantity while attempting to circumvent I.A. Computers' advertised quantity limits will result in all the orders being cancelled. I.A. Computers will permanently disable the accounts of users who repeatedly try to circumvent I.A. Computers advertised quantity limits.

Security

  • All transactions are secured by SSL encryption. Once your information is received, only authorized and trusted I.A. Computers' employees will be able to process your payment.
  • We do NOT store your Card Account numbers on publicly-accessible Internet system(s) and/or server(s).
  • Card transaction data is stored in a secure environment that is protected by information security technologies such as encryption, firewalls and access controls.

Typographical and Photographical Errors

iacomputers.com attempts to be as accurate as possible in our pricing and product information. In the event that a product listed with an incorrect price, rebate, incorrect information or typographical error, iacomputers.com shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to either honor the displayed price or refuse/cancel any such orders placed for that product.
